ADC, Turaki-Led PDP Hold Closed-Door Meeting in Abuja

Leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction under Kabiru Tanimu Turaki are currently in a closed-door meeting in Abuja.

The discussions are focused on the internal crises facing both parties and possible strategic collaborations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Sources say the meeting involves key figures, including Senator David Mark, who leads one faction of the ADC, and prominent stakeholders from the Turaki-led PDP group. The talks centre on opposition realignment and unity efforts.

This development comes amid ongoing political manoeuvring among major opposition figures, including Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Peter Obi.

The PDP remains split between the Turaki faction and the group aligned with Nyesom Wike, while the ADC has also been battling its own factional disputes.
