A group of youths has purchased the N50 million governorship nomination form for former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Ali Isa Ibrahim Pantami, to contest the 2027 Gombe State governorship election.
The youths, who said they jointly contributed the funds, presented the nomination form as a show of support for Pantami’s entry into the race.
According to representatives of the group, the gesture reflects their confidence in his leadership capacity and track record in public service.
Prof. Pantami has not formally declared his intention to run, but the move by the youths has intensified speculation about his political plans ahead of 2027.
The N50 million nomination form is a requirement for aspirants seeking to contest the governorship on the platform of major political parties in the state.
