A prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Buba Galadima, has declared that President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have no chance of victory in the 2027 presidential election.
Galadima, a former key member of both the APC and the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), made the remarks on Tuesday while addressing party members at the ADC National Congress in Abuja.
He claimed the Tinubu administration has performed so poorly that it has nothing to campaign with, stating that even a corpse could defeat the President at the polls.
“Even if there is no living human being in Nigeria, and we bring a corpse, a corpse in a coffin, and put him against President Tinubu, I assure you that that corpse will win the elections in 2027,” Galadima said.
The ADC leader accused the APC government of attempting to destroy all opposition parties, including the PDP, SDP, NNPP, Labour Party, and the ADC itself.
He urged party members to remain resolute against what he described as “mafioso people in government,” emphasising the need for courage and resilience.
The strong comments come as the ADC concludes its national congress amid growing opposition momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
