Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command have rescued five passengers who were robbed and arrested three suspects in connection with the incident.
The suspects, identified as Akinyemi Olamilekan (male), Mutaka Ali (male), and a third accomplice, were apprehended following the robbery operation.
The police acted swiftly to free the victims and bring the suspects into custody.
This latest success adds to ongoing efforts by security agencies in Ondo State to combat robbery, kidnapping, and other violent crimes along major routes.
The rescued passengers are said to be safe, while the arrested suspects are undergoing interrogation to uncover possible links to larger criminal networks.
