Annie Macaulay, the Nollywood actress and reality star, has clarified that she does not consider herself a single mother.
In a post via Instagram,
the actress shared a text image clarifying her identity, stating that she sees
herself as a single woman raising two children rather than a single mother.
“I’m not a single mom. I’m a single woman raising two kids,”
the quote reads.
In September 2025, the film star expressed hopes
that her daughter would recognise her worth and never accept the things she
endured in her marriage.
Annie, who was married to singer 2Baba until their separation in
January 2025, shares two daughters with him, Olivia and Isabella.
Following the split, 2Baba began a relationship with Natasha
Osawaru, a member of the Edo state house of assembly.
The ‘African Queen’ hitmaker confirmed their
relationship, proposed to her in February 2025 and wedded the
lawmaker in July that same year.
He also maintained that Natasha was not responsible for his
separation from Annie.
The actress and model, who had been silent on their
separation since the singer announced it in January 2025, confirmed the
development in April 2025.
At the 17th edition of The Headies, she introduced herself
by her maiden name and stated that she is single while presenting an award.
