The death toll from the recent attack in the Angwan Rukuba area of Plateau State has risen to 27, according to a fresh report by AIT.
The incident, which has heightened tension in the community, also left several people injured. The victims are currently receiving treatment in nearby hospitals.Security operatives have been deployed to the affected area to restore normalcy and prevent further violence.In a statement, military authorities strongly condemned the attack and assured residents that concerted efforts are being made to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
This latest violence adds to the recurring security challenges in parts of Plateau State, as residents continue to demand stronger measures to curb the killings in the region.
