President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for a one-day official visit to Kebbi State.
According to a statement from the Presidency and confirmed by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the President left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport this morning to inaugurate several key projects executed by Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris.
During the visit, President Tinubu will also serve as the special guest of honour at the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, a major annual event celebrating the region's rich cultural heritage and famous fishing traditions.
The trip reflects ongoing federal-state collaboration on infrastructure and cultural promotion.
Updates from the visit, including commissions of projects such as the state secretariat and an ultra-modern motor park in Birnin Kebbi (as reported in initial arrivals), are expected throughout the day.
The President is anticipated to return to Abuja later today following the engagements.
