Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Iyabo Ojo, has shared a cryptic message on her Instagram page amid ongoing controversies in the Nigerian film industry.
The movie star, on Friday, posted an image of a billboard bearing the inscription, “Jealousy is the last class to attend before becoming a witch,” accompanied by a caption that appeared to dismiss critics and naysayers.
In the post, Ojo wrote, “Who made the rules? Nobody you gotta answer to. 2026 ain’t for talkers — it’s for doers. Do what works for YOU. Let others win their way. You win yours. Period.”

>Although she did not mention any individual or specific incident, the post appeared to be a subtle response to the ongoing drama within Nollywood, stressing her resolve to stay focused on her personal goals rather than engage detractors.
The actress, who is known for her outspoken nature, has previously been involved in several high-profile disputes with colleagues, often expressing her views via social media.
The post comes amid a wave of controversies that have recently rocked the film industry.
Recall that filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, recently drew criticism after lamenting the growing expectation for filmmakers to dance, create skits, and maintain constant online visibility to promote their movies.
His comments sparked a response from actress, Funke Akindele, who urged creatives to prioritise innovation over criticism.
She said, “If you can’t beat them or join them, create your own path. No allow jealousy burn you. The sky is so big for everybody to fly.”
Similarly, Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, stated that while she does not oppose dancing for fun during movie promotions, she would not do so if it feels forced or obligatory.
