Yahaya Musa Kwankwaso, a brother to the national leader of
the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has joined Governor Abba
Yusuf to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
This is coming barely three days after Governor Yusuf
resigned his membership of the NNPP.
The governor had blamed his exit from the NNPP on the
protracted internal crises and legal disputes within the party, which he said
had weakened the its cohesion nationwide.
Also on Monday, 21 members of the State Assembly officially
defected from the NNPP to the APC.
