During the summit, President Tinubu delivered a national statement highlighting Nigeria's reforms in the energy sector, including the Electricity Act of 2023 for decentralized power delivery, and efforts to attract climate finance and green investments.

He also witnessed the signing of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Nigeria and the UAE, strengthening bilateral ties.

The President's visit followed his end-of-year break in Europe and aligns with Nigeria's push to position itself as a hub for climate-resilient development and renewable energy partnerships.

President Tinubu is now en route back to Nigeria after a week of high-level engagements.
