Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today received Walid Farghal, Director General of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress in Dubai, at Lagos House, Marina, in a high-level meeting focused on attracting foreign direct investment to the state.
The governor described the discussion as “productive,” highlighting key areas where Lagos seeks to draw more global capital. He emphasized the enormous potential in the state’s technology, infrastructure, and creative sectors, noting that these remain priority areas for high-impact investments.
“Our primary goal remains to ensure Lagos provides a conducive environment for high-impact investments,” Sanwo-Olu stated.
“We are committed to positioning the state to benefit more effectively from global capital flows.”
The meeting shows ongoing efforts by the Lagos State Government to strengthen international partnerships and showcase the state as a leading investment destination in Africa.
The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress, held annually in Dubai, is one of the world’s premier platforms for connecting governments, investors, and business leaders to explore cross-border investment opportunities.
