No Political Party Can Defeat Tinubu in 2027, Atiku’s Son Declares

Abba Atiku, son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has confidently declared that no individual or political party stands a chance against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking in Yola, Adamawa State, on Monday after collecting his APC membership registration card at Gwadabawa Ward in Yola North Local Government Area, Abba emphasized the president's impressive track record.

“I want to make it very clear that nobody or any political party can stop President Bola Tinubu from returning to Aso Rock come 2027,” he stated.

He highlighted Tinubu’s non-tribalistic approach, merit-based appointments free from religious or regional bias, and the extensive economic reforms, human development initiatives, and nationwide infrastructure projects under his leadership.

Abba urged Nigerians across party lines to rally behind the president to sustain and build on these achievements.

“The president needs your support to continue with the good work. We should mobilise more people and beyond party affiliations to support our president,” he added.

APC leaders in Adamawa welcomed the development with optimism. Alhaji Isa Bagalti, the party's Zonal Vice Chairman for Adamawa Central who presented the membership card shows Abba's assessment, asserting that the move underscores Tinubu’s unbeatable position.

“It is now clear to people that there is no party in Nigeria or presidential candidate that can face our president at the poll come 2027,” Bagalti said.Alhaji Jamil Yusuf, a prominent APC chieftain in the state, dismissed potential challengers outright.

He described them as unqualified “wishful thinkers” who treat politics like a “trade fair,” advising them to redirect their energies to profitable investments.

“The office of the president is no longer for the highest bidder, but for competent people like President Tinubu,” Yusuf remarked.

The declaration highlights ongoing political realignments in the North-East and within prominent families. While Abba has aligned with the APC to promote Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, his brother Adamu Atiku remains a key PDP figure as Commissioner for Works and Energy Development in Adamawa under Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

Their father, Atiku Abubakar, pursues his presidential ambitions under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The event has fueled discussions about deepening support for Tinubu’s re-election bid as Nigeria gears up for the 2027 polls.
