Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, welcomed Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), during a courtesy visit to the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna.
The Governor extended warm congratulations to the Minister on his recent appointment and underscored Kaduna State's unwavering dedication to collaborating with the Federal Ministry of Defence and the Nigerian Armed Forces to safeguard lives and property throughout the state.
In their meeting, the two leaders deliberated on critical security matters, including bolstering joint operations, improving intelligence gathering and inter-agency coordination, and ensuring greater welfare and logistical support for troops stationed in Kaduna.
Governor Sani reiterated that protecting the lives and welfare of citizens is the cornerstone of his administration's agenda, committing to deeper partnerships with national security institutions to foster enduring peace and stability.
He also thanked the Minister for acknowledging the steadfast backing provided by the Kaduna State government and its people to the nation's security forces.
Expressing optimism, Governor Sani affirmed his belief that, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's guidance, Nigeria's defence sector will grow even stronger, yielding significant dividends for Kaduna and the country at large.
