Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, says his office has spent the past year actively clarifying government policies and countering misinformation.
In a post on X on Friday, Bwala said it has been one year since he was appointed to speak for the administration, noting that the period has been dedicated to engaging global media, strengthening Nigeria’s image abroad, and promoting the Renewed Hope agenda.
He expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve and thanked Nigerians for their engagement, adding that the work would continue with greater commitment.
He wrote: “Today marks one year since Mr. President entrusted me with the responsibility of speaking for his administration. I remain deeply grateful for his confidence, guidance, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress.
“Over the past 12 months, our office has worked tirelessly; clarifying policies, countering misinformation, engaging global media, strengthening Nigeria’s image abroad, and amplifying the Renewed Hope agenda across all platforms. Every day has been a lesson in service, duty, and national responsibility.
“Thank you, Mr. President, for the honour. Thank you, Nigerians, for listening. The work continues with even greater resolve”.
