Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has disclosed that the late Biafra warlord, Odumegwu Ojukwu, is more than a figure in the history of Nigeria.
Obi said Ojukwu’s life has shown that leadership is not
merely a position but a calling and test.
Remembering Ojukwu on his post-humorous birthday, Obi said
the legacies of the late warlord lives on.
Obi said Ojukwu’s legacy would remain a guiding light to
those who believe in justice, honour and the power of a principled life.

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
“Ojukwu was more than a figure in our history; he embodied
courage, intellect, dignity and firm conviction.
“His life reminds us that leadership is not merely a
position, it is a calling, a burden, and, at times, a test of one’s deepest
values.
“As we reflect on his legacy, may we be inspired to build a
society grounded in truth, equity, and humanity, ideals he held dear and
defended resolutely.”
