In a decisive blow against terrorism, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully neutralized a major terrorist enclave deep inside the Sambisa Forest.Acting on precise intelligence, the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI launched a highly coordinated air interdiction mission on 19 November 2025, targeting ARRA, a known terrorist command and logistics hub in the Sambisa general area.
The operation was triggered by intensified surveillance following the deadly terrorist ambush on Nigerian troops at KASHOMRI on 17 October 2025.
Weeks of persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) efforts revealed heavy terrorist activity and fortified structures at ARRA, confirming it as a critical operational base.NAF fighter jets executed multiple precision strikes, systematically destroying all identified targets.
The entire terrorist compound was demolished, dealing a severe setback to the group’s command structure, logistics network, and overall fighting capability.
The Chief of the Air Staff commended the professionalism and accuracy of the mission, reaffirming the Nigerian Air Force’s relentless commitment to supporting ground forces and degrading terrorist elements across the northeast.
