Bello Muhammad Matawalle, Minister of State for Defence, has praised troops of Operation Fansar Yamma for their dedication, courage, and sacrifices in combating criminal elements across the North West theatre.
Speaking during an operational visit to the Theatre Command Headquarters in Gusau, Zamfara State, Matawalle urged the personnel to maintain resilience, vigilance, and focus as efforts ramp up to achieve lasting peace and stability.
He reaffirmed the Federal Government’s pledge to supply additional resources, logistics, and enhanced welfare packages to bolster operational effectiveness.
The Minister also lauded the Theatre Command’s leadership for recent achievements and stressed the need for sustained collaboration among security agencies.
In response, Theatre Commander Major General Warrah Bello Idris thanked the Minister for the visit, calling it a clear demonstration of the government’s steadfast support for North West security operations.
