The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has alerted residents that temporary power interruptions will affect certain areas of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as a result of road construction activities along the Kuje axis.
In a statement posted on X on Tuesday, TCN explained that the project, managed by the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, October 28, through Sunday, November 16.
According to the commission, the works will impact the 132kV Gwagwalada-Kukwaba-Apo Double Circuit Transmission line.
To prioritize safety for all involved parties, TCN stated it will implement a scheduled load management plan, resulting in brief power disruptions limited to the construction hours.
The outages will be rolled out in three distinct phases to reduce inconvenience and facilitate smooth progress on the infrastructure project.
