The Department of State Services (DSS) has alerted Nigerians
against dealing with Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, a dismissed officer, who is
allegedly using the name of the agency to defraud citizens.
In a notice published on Sunday, the anti-graft agency asked
the public to reach out to the agency for complaints and enquiry.
“The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby alerts
members of the public of the activities of one Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, a
dismissed staff,” the notice reads.
“He is reportedly engaging in unscrupulous activities,
including using the name of the Service to defraud unsuspecting members of the
public.
“Members of the public are therefore advised to desist from
any dealings with him.
“For requests, enquiries or complaints the Service can be
reached on 09088373515 or via email: dsspr@dss.gov.ng.”
Last week, the DSS similarly warned against dealing with
Barry Donald, a dismissed officer, for allegedly using the agency’s name to
defraud unsuspecting Nigerians.
