Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has secured a season-long loan move to Bundesliga club Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Nigerian forward, part of Leverkusen’s title-winning squad, is expected to bolster Bremen’s attacking line.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed that Werder Bremen will partially cover Boniface’s salary under the loan agreement.
Boniface expressed excitement about the transfer, stating on the club’s website, “Discussions with the management convinced me to join Werder Bremen.
I’m eager to contribute to our shared goals this season and can’t wait to play with my new team.
