President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to equitable development across Nigeria, emphasizing that his administration’s projects serve all Nigerians, not just specific regions.
In a post shared on X, Tinubu outlined a series of infrastructure and development initiatives, underscoring their role as “national assets” that unite the country.
“I took an oath to serve all Nigerians, not a section,” Tinubu wrote. “That oath guides every bridge, road, rail, power, and health project we deliver.”
The president highlighted key projects, including the Lagos–Calabar Highway in the South, the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway in the North, the Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail in the East, the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway in the Centre, and the Trans-Saharan highway connecting African countries.
He also noted the rehabilitation of health centres nationwide, the approval of light rail projects in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, and Ogun, and the creation of 250,000 jobs.
Additional efforts include restoring power to Kaduna through a revived 255MW plant, building bridges in Onitsha and Bonny, expanding oil exploration in Bauchi and Gombe, and advancing the AKK pipeline across the Niger.
“Every farmer who needs a road, every trader who needs power, every child who needs a school, every patient who needs care… this is who we are building for,” Tinubu stated.
He described these initiatives as part of the “equity of Renewed Hope,” ensuring no Nigerian is treated as second-class and no region is neglected.
Tinubu concluded with a call for unity: “Together we will rise as one nation, one people, and one destiny. Bet on Nigeria.”
