The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in collaboration with the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI (AC OPHK), conducted a successful airstrike that neutralized numerous terrorists and obliterated their enclaves in Bula Madibale, Gezuwa, Borno State.
According to a statement by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, the operation was executed at approximately 10:50 am following intelligence and surveillance reports confirming suspicious movements in the area.
The intelligence revealed that approximately 45 terrorists, arriving on motorcycles and bicycles, had gathered at a stronghold marked by two hoisted terrorist flags, indicating a significant rallying point.
Acting swiftly, AC OPHK launched a coordinated air interdiction, delivering a devastating blow that eliminated several terrorists and destroyed the flagged structure along with other hostile assets at the site.
The operation shows the NAF’s unwavering commitment to disrupting terrorist activities and preventing insurgents from regrouping or launching attacks on civilian communities.
The Armed Forces reiterated their dedication to restoring peace and stability in Nigeria’s North East, reassuring citizens of ongoing efforts to ensure safety and security in the region.
