Kenneth Okonkwo, a former Labour Party chieftain, has criticized President Bola Tinubu for taking a vacation in Europe while Nigerians face ongoing violence in the North.
In an Instagram post on Monday, September 8, 2025, the actor-turned-politician expressed grief over the recent killing of 102 people in Borno, despite warnings from Governor Babagana Zulum about the resurgence of Boko Haram.
Okonkwo stated, “When will this massacre of Nigerians stop? As this is going on, Tinubu is on vacation in Europe. Obviously, this massacre can only stop when Tinubu’s government ends as he is clueless as to the solution of insecurity in Nigeria.”
He extended condolences to the families of victims across the country, emphasizing his belief that the current administration lacks effective solutions to address Nigeria’s security challenges.
