Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has formalized the Kaduna Mutual Accountability Framework (KaMAF) in partnership with the Gates Foundation, with the signing taking place during the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Governor Sani described the agreement as a pivotal milestone in Kaduna State’s development journey.
The KaMAF initiative is designed to boost healthcare infrastructure, with a strong focus on primary healthcare, maternal and child well-being, and disease prevention.
It also seeks to transform agriculture through sustainable practices and improved market access.
The governor emphasized that the framework will establish robust data systems, promote transparent budgeting, and empower households—especially women—via financial and digital inclusion.
This comprehensive approach aims to foster a more inclusive and resilient future for Kaduna State.
