Victor Thompson, the Nigerian gospel singer, and his wife
Henrietta are expecting their first child after nearly five years of waiting.
The couple shared the news via Instagram on Wednesday,
accompanied by videos and photos from their maternity shoot.
Thompson revealed they had been waiting for four years and
nine months, describing the journey as a season filled with questions.
“We didn’t understand delay. For all the questions we had in
our waiting season, God has proved himself to us,” he wrote.
The singer also celebrated Henrietta on her birthday, adding
that their bond grew stronger during the waiting period.
“This is what only God can do! We’ve waited for this! We’ve
prayed for this! We are living in the fulfillment of Gods promises,” he added.
“Days we dreamt of have finally become our Reality! We are
living in our Testimony! What a perfect way to celebrate the Birthday of the
most beautiful woman in my world.
“Babe I love you so much. In our waiting season, Our love
and bond grew stronger. I’ll choose you over and again baby. Happy Birthday to
you my love, and a big beautiful congratulations to us.”
The gospel artiste announced that he will release a new song titled ‘God Has Done’ on September 26.
