Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has urged the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to streamline operations at the Port Harcourt and Onne Ports to drive job creation and economic growth.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the NPA Board and Management, Fubara emphasized the need to boost port efficiency to improve Rivers State’s ranking in Nigeria’s ease of doing business index.
In a post on X, Fubara stated: “I hosted the NPA Board and Management today and charged them to optimize Port Harcourt and Onne Ports to create jobs, enhance economic activity, and elevate Rivers State’s position in Nigeria’s ease of doing business ranking.”
