From N711 billion in May 2023 to N3.635 trillion by September 2025, the FIRS has achieved unprecedented growth. Key figures include:
FIRS Oil Revenue: N96bn to N644bn (+571%)
Non-Oil Revenue: N151bn to N1.056trn (+599%)
NUPRC: +496% | NCS: +204%
VAT: +232% | EMTL: +127%
NNPC: Historic first remittance of N111bn
Dr. Adedeji credited robust reforms and enhanced compliance for the gains, assuring Nigerians that the upcoming tax measures, effective January 2026, will streamline processes, expand the tax base, and secure fiscal stability without added burdens on citizens.
