Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and former Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke visited the newly crowned Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his palace on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
The visit, one of the first major receptions since Oba Ladoja’s coronation as the 44th Olubadan, drew a large crowd of political leaders, traditional rulers, and residents who gathered to honor the monarch and show solidarity.
The dignitaries expressed their congratulations and pledged support for Oba Ladoja’s reign, emphasizing the importance of unity and cultural preservation in Ibadanland.
The Olubadan, in response, thanked his guests for their visit, highlighting his commitment to fostering peace, development, and collaboration with leaders across Nigeria to advance the welfare of his people.
