Troops Arrest Suspected Boko Haram Logistics Supplier in Maiduguri


In a joint operation, troops of Operation Hadin Kai and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) apprehended Ahmadu Mohammed Dogo, a suspected Boko Haram logistics supplier, in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Monday, August 4, 2025, at approximately 11:50 a.m. 


The arrest took place at Muna Garage following credible intelligence.Preliminary investigations reveal that Dogo was caught attempting to transport Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) hidden inside Fearless energy drink plastic bottles, packed in 12 sacks. 


During interrogation, he reportedly admitted to transporting the fuel to Gamboru-Ngala, a border town known as a key logistics hub for insurgents operating near the Lake Chad Basin.


Items seized from the suspect include the PMS-filled bottles, charms, suspected hard drugs, rings, syringes, and various personal effects. 


Security sources state that this arrest is part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Boko Haram’s logistics and financial networks in the North East.Dogo remains in military custody for further interrogation.
