Multiple passengers perished when an Adamawa Express bus plunged into the Namnai River in Gassol Local Government Area, Taraba State, after losing balance on a collapsed section of the Namnai Bridge.
The incident occurred early Sunday, August 17, 2025, while the bus was traveling to Taraba.
The Namnai Bridge, which collapsed over a year ago, remains unrepaired, sparking outrage among locals.
