Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu warmly received First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for her inaugural official visit to the state.
In a Facebook post, the Governor announced that the First Lady will distribute empowerment items to over 1,000 women at the State House in Alausa, Ikeja.
She will also launch the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, Mushin, touted as West Africa’s largest facility of its kind.
Sanwo-Olu shared: “It was an honor to welcome Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on her first official visit to Lagos. Today, she will empower over 1,000 women with items at the State House, Alausa, and inaugurate the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, Mushin—the largest in West Africa.“
"I urge Lagosians to extend our renowned hospitality to Her Excellency. Her initiatives uplift women, children, and families, aligning with Lagos’ values of unity, inclusion, and progress.”
