The Kaduna State police command has announced the arrest of a young man, (name withheld) for allegedly impersonating some Northern governors.
The young man was reportedly arrested after scamming many unsuspecting Nigerians after posing as some governors.
The name of the governors impersonated have been withheld too.
This was disclosed by the Kaduna police spokesman, ASP Mansur Hassan in an interview with BBC Hausa.
After his arrest, we found out he has many contacts of prominent Nigerians on his contact list,” he said.
“The man is an expert at mimicking voices, he can change his voice to anyone else’s once they speak,” he added.
Investigation is ongoing to ascertain the gravity of his scams as the media awaits details from the police force.
