The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended all Abuja-Kaduna Train Services (AKTS) following an incident that injured seven of the 618 passengers on board.
The NRC confirmed that a rescue train safely evacuated the remaining passengers to Idu and Kubwa stations.
In response, the NRC has directed its third-party ticketing agency to immediately process refunds for all affected passengers.
The suspension aims to ensure safety as the corporation investigates the cause of the disruption, with further updates expected soon.
