Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, asserted that President Bola Tinubu did not win the 2023 presidential election.
Lawal, who described himself as a former friend of Tinubu, stated in a Monday, August 11 interview with Channels TV, that the facts available to him suggest Tinubu was not the rightful winner of the election that made him Nigeria’s 16th president.
Lawal further criticized Tinubu, saying, “He thinks I offended him, but he offended me. He’s too full of himself, acting like the so-called president. I believe he didn’t win the election.”
