Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening, July 20, 2025, while traveling from Daura to the state capital along the Daura-Katsina Road.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, confirmed the incident in a statement, assuring that the governor is in stable condition with no serious injuries.
“Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor road accident this evening along the Daura-Katsina Road while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State,” the statement read.
The governor is undergoing routine medical evaluation at a medical facility as a precaution and is being attended to by qualified professionals.
Governor Radda remains in high spirits and expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for his protection and to Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and support.
