In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Cardoso shared photos from their wedding day, including one in which the couple held hands.
The caption reads, “1 month of our ‘until death do us part’. Forever, your white girl”.
The post comes just weeks after the tragic car accident that claimed the life of Jota at 28, and his younger brother, André Silva, in Spain on July 3, barely 11 days after the footballer tied the knot.
The pair were reportedly travelling along a highway near Seville when their vehicle lost control and veered off the road. Emergency responders pronounced both brothers dead at the scene.
Jota, who played as a forward for Liverpool and the Portuguese national team, was widely admired for his energy, versatility, and work ethic on the pitch.
