I'm unsatisfied with my career progress - Actor, Efa Iwara

Nigerian actor Efa Iwara has opened up about his dissatisfaction with his current career trajectory, saying he believes he has yet to reach his full potential.

Speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Iwara expressed a deep desire to push himself further while prioritising his health.

“No, I am not happy with where my career is,” he said. “I feel like I can do so much more. There’s so much potential that is untapped. I can work twice as hard, as long as I don’t break down. I’m just never satisfied.”

Iwara, who began life as a stammerer, recalled how he overcame his speech challenge with the support of his elder brother. “I was born a stammerer, but had to outgrow it. My brother had to coach me out of it,” he shared.

With a career that spans both music and acting, Iwara has featured in several acclaimed productions, including The Men’s Club and This Lady Called Life.

Despite his achievements, the multi-talented entertainer said he remains focused on reaching greater heights.
