Chelsea star Caleb Wiley has returned to Championship club Watford on a season-long loan.
The Premier League west London club disclosed this in a statement on their website on Tuesday.
Wiley, 20, spent the second half of last season at Vicarage Road, featuring on 10 occasions for the Hornets.
The United States international joined the Blues in July 2024 from MLS side Atlanta United.
Wiley, who featured for his country at last summer’s Olympic Games in Paris, remained in France and joined RC Strasbourg on loan.
The defender made six appearances for the French Ligue 1 side before switching to Watford for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign in February.
“We look forward to supporting Caleb [Wiley] throughout his loan. Good luck, Caleb,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
