A young man identified as Lucky Tsetim has reportedly been
killed by suspected armed at Tse-Kalema in Mbazun, Atogbenda, Ukum Local
Government Area of Benue State.
Local sources say he was attacked while working on his farm
on Tuesday.
The killing has sparked fresh fears among residents, who say
Fulani attacks in Tse-Kalema are becoming increasingly frequent.
They are calling on security agencies to urgently intervene
and restore peace in the area.
As of press time, no official response has been issued by
the authorities as calls to the Spokesperson of the Benue State Police
Command,DSP, Udeme Edet was not returned.
