Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has agreed to personal terms with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, despite initial reservations.
The 25-year-old had previously walked away from negotiations due to a salary dispute. Read here.
Osimhen is set to earn €30 million per year over four years, with potential add-ons, according to reports.
The agreement marks a significant breakthrough in the transfer negotiations, although Al Hilal still needs to finalize an agreement with Napoli.
Napoli is seeking €75 million for Osimhen, while Al Hilal's best offer is €70 million.
Talks between the two clubs are set to continue, with Al Hilal hoping to secure the transfer before the mini-transfer window closes on June 10.
If the transfer is completed, Osimhen will be eligible to play for Al Hilal at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The development will be a blow to Galatasaray, who had been pushing for Osimhen to remain with the club after his successful loan spell.
