The chairman of the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee, PFDK, Celal Nuri Demiturk, has stepped down after his chats about Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho were leaked.
Mourinho has continued to be a controversial and outspoken figure since he arrived at the Istanbul club.
Demiturk is among those who have responded to jabs from the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss.
Basbug Pinarbasi has now replaced Demiturk as the chairman of the PFDK, which is overseen by the Turkish Football Federation, TFF.
Fenerbahce had called for Demiturk to resign and described the comments made about Mourinho during conversations between PFDK members as “hostile”.
The club insisted the comments “clearly violate the principle of impartiality”.
