A vibrant display of support unfolded in Makurdi, on Thursday, in the capital city of Benue State, as thousands of youths gathered to show their backing for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia's second term.
The enthusiastic crowd, made up of various pro-Tinubu/Alia support groups, took to the major streets, waving placards and chanting solidarity songs.
The rally culminated at the roundabout leading to the Government House, where Governor Alia was expected to address the crowd.
As the youths waited for the governor's speech, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation.
This show of support comes as Governor Alia continues to make strides in Benue State, including his recent commendation of President Tinubu's $1.1 billion Green Imperative Project aimed at boosting agricultural productivity.
The project, which aims to enhance food production efficiency and attract private-sector investment, aligns with Alia's vision for the state as Nigeria's "Food Basket".
