Nigerian international winger Moses Simon has completed a move to Paris FC from fellow French side Nantes. The 29-year-old has signed a three-year contract with Paris FC as the club prepares for its return to Ligue 1.
Simon joins Paris FC after a successful six-season stint with Nantes, where he made 201 appearances and scored 37 goals. The transfer fee was not disclosed, but Paris FC's sporting director, François Ferracci, revealed that the club had long targeted the Nigerian winger.
Ferracci said, "Moses was a priority for us and he has shown a real interest in our project despite a lot of demand [from other clubs]." The club's new ownership, including the Arnault family and Red Bull, has invested heavily in the team, which has propelled them to promotion back to Ligue 1.
This will be Paris FC's first season in the French top-flight since the 1978-1979 campaign. With Simon on board, the club is looking to make a strong impression in the league.
