Chelsea Football Club has decided not to trigger the permanent signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, sources confirm.
Despite the England international's impressive performances during his loan spell at Stamford Bridge, the Blues were unable to reach an agreement with Sancho on his personal terms.
As per the terms of the loan deal, Chelsea will have to pay Manchester United a £5 million penalty.
Sancho, who scored 5 goals in 42 appearances for Chelsea, will leave the club on June 30 and is expected to weigh his options for his future.
The winger's departure means he will not join Chelsea's upcoming FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
