Nigerian Immigration officers made me remove my eyelashes -Ayra Starr

 


Nigerian star, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr has recounted her ordeal in the hands of the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS.

 

The ‘Rush’ crooner on her Twitter handle disclosed that she was forced to remove her eyelash extensions by an Immigration officer or else she would not be attended to.

 

“This passport office people really made me just remove my lashes.”

 

According to the vocalist, “ I’ll never forgive y’all.”

 

The Contonu-born singer, who began her singing career at the age of 16 years was officially signed into Mavin Records in January 2020 after Music Executive, Don Jazzy came across her song titled ‘Damage’ on her Instagram page.

  3. That's because the photo they saw on your passport application form is different from the face you presented physically, after applying makeup, artificial eyelashes and artificial hair.

  6. The stupidity of some people self is beyond human comprehension! Did they ask you to remove it because it's you? Even Muslim women who are forbidden from revealing their facial appearance are asked to remove it when taking their picture at immigration office. Then who is this Charlatan to come to the social media and announce what happened to her? Even the law permits them to deny you issuance or renewal of your passport even if you have satisfied all requirements.
