Timi Dakolo, a Nigerian soul music star, performed at a
total of eight wedding events on Saturday.
The singer took to his Instagram page on the same day to share a series of videos showing him performing romance-oriented songs.
For the last in the series, Dakolo shared yet another video
in the caption of which he wrote, “wedding number 8.”
Each of the videos he shared was numbered and featured a
massive audience cheering as he was walked into sight.
Dakolo started singing in church at the age of twelve. He
later joined the group Purple Love as a founding member in 2003. They dominated
a Port Harcourt club but disbanded in 2005 as its members sought university
education.
The singer went on to win the inaugural season of Idols West
Africa in 2007 after which he dominated his game.
