Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali(retd.), has ordered the immediate removal of rice from import restriction list and the re-introduction of import duty payment.
That's a nice move!!! For sure this will reduce smuggling from neighboring countries and also discourage bribery as any smuggler caught will be force to the duty to the government
