Liz Anjorin, who has recently converted to Islam, explained her decision.
Popular actress Liz Anjorin has recently surprised her fans when photos of her on Muslim Pilgrimage to Mecca surfaced online.
Later the celebrity said that she was changing her religion from Christianity to Islam.
She also dropped the name Elizabeth and changed it for Aisha, in light with her new religion. Liz has finally revealed the truth...
Liz tells City People Magazine
"It happened in a miraculous way which I have been expecting for long, not that I woke up yesterday and decided to change my religion. By birth, I was half Muslim and half Christian.
"My father was Christian while my mum was Muslim. Growing up I went to church because of my father. I didn't have a choice at the time but I have always had interest in Islam so immediately my father died I switched over to my mum's religion.
"It is a religion I love so much. Also Aisha is now my official name though Liz is still my name and I will continue to use the name to do movies.
What will you switch to when your mum departs?

ReplyDeleteThe fact still remains that the best of Christ's believer is the "Muslim", who Islam teaches that he must recognize Christ "Isa" as God's messenger, otherwise he can't be a Muslim. The Muslim is the best of Christ's followers, because he gives him (Christ) that respect of being a God-sent person unto his own who rejected him. There is no Muslim who will mention or hear Isa's (Christ's) name without whispering the phrase 'may Peace and Blessings of God be with him'. The Muslim is different from those who claim to be Christ's followers in that, the "Christians" believe Christ is either God himself or that he shares in the substance of God, a belief Christ never taught anyone. he question to be asked again here is - is there any religion called "CHRISTIANITY'?, being ascribed to Jesus? Jesus never left any religion called "christianity', he preached Islam (oneness of God) all his days on earth. He told all that he is NOT God, he had no powers of his own except that from God, he was mortal, born of a woman, ate, slept like any human, but those who think they can secure 'salvation' by shouting for someone's blood have gone to make God of a humble servant of God. The end point of this short contribution is that - the Muslim is the real follower of Christ, not those shouting all over the places and claiming to do miracles in the name of this innocent, humble teacher - Christ. No one stands condemned for towing any belief, but the truth will always prevail, being a Muslim, as Christ and all the prophets in the past were, makes one closer to Christ. The Muslim carries his own Cross and will not seek salvation through believing one innocent soul died for him, even Christ teaches so.

ReplyDeleteChristianity is not a religion but a way of life you live through the guidance of the holy spirit of God. That you claim to be a christian does not make you one unless you walk in the spirit.
Even while claiming to be a christian which she wasn't cos if she were to be christian, she won't be living a worldly life.
My bible made me to understand that many were called but few were choosen and the broadway leads to destruction which many will surely follow, narrow is the way that leads to life only few shall find it. Out of billions of christians in the world, only but few are true christians. That she said she was a christian is not true, she was just a walking corpse roaming the earth.

ReplyDeleteI shook my head in pity for what christianity has turned into. Christians show an overwhelming animosity to muslims yet they claim to be the righteous. They say, only in their mouths what they believe, for in their minds a different (disastrous) thinking resides. A christians does not have a devine basis for his deeds for what is right to him is what is Godly. He finds it difficult to come to terms with the fact that others do not share his belief and for that he condemns them as lost yet he preaches none should adjudge others. They forget only too quickly that Jesus was asked how salvation in the hereafter will be attained, he did not say follow my commandments but said follow the commandments of my precedessor (Moses)
ReplyDeleteAnother glaring fact in history is that every religion of God (Islam) has being abused by the people it is meant to serve and its followers percuted. What is now christianity (Islam as Isa [Jesus] delivered it) suffered the same and perhaps was ignored when its adherents are believed to have deviated from the true teaching the servant of God delivered- the aknowledgement of a single God to whom all deeds of worship must be directed to and non other.christians should reflect a lot about their religion and the changes it has undergone. DeleteShe wasn't a true Christian anyway. She was only a Christian by title. I doubt if she was born again and spirit filled - that for me is the true definition of being a Christian. She could as well have been a Hindu converting to islam.

ReplyDeleteThose that are criticizing Liz should rather salute are courage.A lot of adherents of other religion know really that Islam is the true religion God chooses for mankind,the nurse of shame or not being courageous enough made them to remain and hold on to their ways of worship.I want to implore non muslims to take time and find things out about Islam,why will someone chose to convert to Islam,whereas Islamic religious activities are tedious and hectic.Do not be biased,have a plain mind,find out the reasons for these conversions to Islam.
