The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed the arrest of two suspects found with explosives at the Police force headquarters in Abuja.
The Deputy force public relations officer, Chief Superintendent of Police, Mr Frank Mba confirmed the arrest, in his words, "the police has arrested a 30 year old man at its premises carrying a bag containing   things that he could not explain".
He added that the suspect is being questioned to establish his motives and the details will be made public when investigations are concluded.

Mr Mba also confirmed the incidence at the radio house venue of a ministerial briefing where another suspect was apprehended with live ammunition and three grenades.
He however noted that it will be speculative to suspect a connection between the two incidences or link it to any person at the moment.
This is not the first threat to the Luis Edet House, In fact, The Police Force headquarters had once been attacked by the fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram, which launched a suicide bomb attack on the convoy of the former Inspector-general of Police at the entrance of the Louis Edet building  in 2011.
