A Word For Those That Call Me A Tribalist - Femi Fani-Kayode

"I was not a tribalist when I had a long-standing and intimate relationship with Miss Bianca Onoh, an igbo lady, who many years later married Ojukwu and who is now our Ambassador in Spain."

Those that call me a tribalist are simply misguided. Perhaps they do not know the meaning of the word or its true import. Those that know me well can confirm the fact that I am not a tribalist, a racist or a bigot and that I consider such sentiments as being unworthy of a man of class, good breeding and culture. I am however a firm believer in the propagation of truth and I appreciate the value and importance of history. Sadly many of our igbo compatriots do not believe in that. For them history consists of only one thing- how other Nigerians have always marginalized them and treated them badly.

If only they knew their own history, where they are coming from, what they used to be, where they were 100 years ago and what their forefathers did to the rest of Nigeria over the last 80 years they would know why they have always had such a hard time in this country. Sadly because they dont know any of these things they cannot learn from them. And if they cannot learn from them they will continue to make the same mistakes. That is why they can come to another mans land and territory and call it their own and when we say ''no'' they tell us to shut up and call us tribalists.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote a tribute to Colonel Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu after he died or when I condemned the '60's pogroms that took place in the north in which their people were slaughtered like flies.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote against my good friend Senator Ahmed Sani Yarima and child marriage in the north. Yet now I am a tribalist because I spoke the truth about our history and who the yoruba are.

I was not a tribalist when I had a long-standing and intimate relationship with Miss Bianca Onoh, an igbo lady, who many years later married Ojukwu and who is now our Ambassador in Spain.

I was not a tribalist when I had a long-standing and intimate relationship with Miss Chioma Anasoh, another igbo lady, who I almost took as a second wife.

I was not a tribalist when I had a long-standing and intimate relationship with Miss Adaobi Uchegbu, another igbo lady, who was exceptionally close to me and who is now at the National Headquarters of the ruling PDP.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote essays defending the rights of the igbo and every other Nigerian nationality to exercise their right of self-determination and leave Nigeria if that is what they wanted to do.

I was not a tribalist when I consistently wrote that Nigeria must have a Sovereign National Conference where the rights and obligations of all its various nationalities would be clearly defined and agreed upon.

I was not a tribalist when I employed more igbo people as a Presidential spokesman and a Minister of the Federal Republic than even my own yoruba.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote an essay, just two years ago, extolling the virtues of igbo women and telling the world about their sudden and meteoric rise and how far they had gone in the power circles of this country in the last 10 years. I was not a tribalist when I condemned the bombing of predominantly igbo and catholic churches and the killing of the igbo and others by Boko Haram in the north over the last three years.

I was not a tribalist when I risked my life by consistently writing against Boko Haram and urging our President to do a better job at protecting the lives of all Nigerians even though I live in the north.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote against political sharia in the late '90's and I participated in protracted and sometimes acrimoniuos debates with islamic fundamentalists and islamists.

I was not a tribalist when I was in NADECO and when we fought against military rule in Nigeria. I was not a tribalist when I fought for a President from the south-south or the south-east.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote in defence of the igbo when it came to the abandoned property issue.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote about the excesses of the Federal troops during the civil war.

I was not a tribalist when I commended Azikiwe and the virtues of the NCNC in Nigerian history.

I was not a tribalist when I wrote that it was unfair and wrong for the Federal Government of Nigeria to leave the igbo with only 20 pounds each after the civil war.

I was not a tribalist when many years ago I attended and gave my life to Christ in a church called TREM which was established by a great igbo man by the name of Bishop Mike Okonkwo.

I was not a tribalist when my grandfather, Justice Victor Adedapo Kayode, taught Chief Nnamdi Azikiwe at Methodist Boys High School in Lagos and when my father, Chief Remilekun Fani-Kayode, was appointed as the leader of the predominantly igbo NCNC in the Western Regional House of Assembly.

I could go on and on. These people have very short memories and anyone that does not agree with them all the time or that says one word against them at any point in time is labelled a tribalist for life.

They called Chief Obafemi Awolowo a tribalist, an igbo-hater a genocidal maniac and a child-killer simply because the man refused to join sides with them in the civil war yet they forgot that on one of the occassions that Awolowo ran for the Presidency his running mate was from the east and not from the north.

They called Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, Chief S.L Akintola and Sir Ahmadu Bello igbo-haters and tribalists simply because they saw through the igbo agenda at a very early stage in our history and they marked and killed them all for it.

They called General Yakubu Gowon a genocidal maniac, a child-killer, an igbo-hater and a tribalist simply because opposed Biafra, stood up to Ojukwu and insisted on keeping Nigeria together and even though he declared that there was ''no victor and no vanquished'' after the civil war.

They accused President Olusegun Obasanjo of being a tribalist and an igbo-hater even though he appointed an igbo man as the first GOC in the Nigerian Army since 1966 and even though he appointed more igbos into key positions in his government than any President before him.

They accused President Shehu Shagari of being a tribalist and an igbo-hater even though he pardoned Ojukwu and allowed him to return back home after a long period in exile.

They have accused the Nigerian people of being tribalists and igbo-haters simply because we have not had an igbo President since 1966 forgetting that Nigeria was magnamonious in victory and that she not only gladly welcomed them back into the fold after the civil war but that she also gave them the Vice Presidency of the country only ten years later.

They have labelled the northerners as tribalists and igbo-haters simply because the north has refused to tolerate their excesses and accept their complicated ways.

They have labelled the Niger Deltans as tribalists and igbo-haters simply due to the ''abandoned property issue'' and because historically many of them have always resisted the idea of igbo domination.

They have labelled the yoruba as tribalists and igbo-haters simply because we have refused to accept their claims to our land and territory and even though we were more charitable, hospitable, accomodating and generous to them than any other nationality in Nigeria after the civil war.

The yoruba particularly have been too kind and gentle with them. That is the problem. They see our liberal and accomodating nature as stupidity and weakness.

That is why they always call the yoruba cowards forgetting that the history of the yoruba proves otherwise. It is now time to tell the truth. They despise the yoruba and they only pretend to believe in one Nigeria as long as they can always have their way and laud it over others. Worst of all, generally speaking, they have no restraining factors because money and the acquisition of wealth is their sole objective and purpose in life.

Someone ought to tell them that this is not a virtue but a vice. It is a cultural deficiency which is borne out of not having any history. If they did they would be less aggressive, more restrained and far more civil to others even where and when they disagree with them. If speaking these bitter home truths and yearning and fighting for a better Nigeria makes me a tribalist then it is a toga that I would be happy to wear.

I will not sit by quietly and allow my people, the yoruba people of south western Nigeria, to be rubbished, insulted and cheated by anyone no matter how aggressive and given to extreemities that anyone may believe he is. I make or offer and no apology for my views. My numerous assertions on the igbo stand.

Meanwhile I have read all sorts of strange submissions in various newspapers and blogs that have held themselves out as rejoinders to my two articles titled "Lagos, The Igbo and the Servants Of Truth" and "The Bitter Truth About The Igbo". Sadly other than the usual abuse and ungodly clap-trap not one of them has been able to address ANY of the issues that I raised in either of the two articles, answer any of the questions that I posed in them or successfully challenge my presentation of historical facts.

The bellicose nature and sheer crassness of these so-called rejoinders goes to prove two things. Firstly that those that I have descibed as being collectively unlettered, uncouth, uncultured, unrestrained and crude in all their ways really are all those things and a lot more and secondly that they cannot put up any reasonable or serious arguement to discredit or refute the message so instead they are attempting to destroy the messanger.

Meanwhile the two essays have been published in various newspapers in our country and outside and it will continue to be published by others long into the forseeable future.

The message is clear and it is already out there. It cannot be called back in. The horse has bolted from the stable and the falcon has left the nest.

No matter how hard those that are attempting to intimidate us into silence may try it will not work and we will not be cowed. The message is already out there and the genie is already out of the bottle. Those that seek to continue to denigrate and belittle the yoruba and lay claim to what is rightfully ours should desist from doing so. They should grant us our peace and give us our due respect and they will get the same in return.

If they do not do so those things will elude them and eventually history will repeat itself again in this country.

Meanwhile when anyone reads a rejoinder that addresses the issues that I raised in my essays and that has some level of scholarship and intellectual content they should please let me know and I may well dignify it with a response. The shameless and emotional thrash and disjointed verbiage that have been described as rejoinders so far are just not up to scratch.

They are bereft of any scholarship and intellectual content. They also invoke pity in me for the faceless plebians that wrote them and those they claim to be speaking for. When the igbo, or anyone else, find a real champion that can cross swords with me and give me a good run for my money someone should please let me know. I am itching for a real debate with a worthy adversary on this issue.

Like the great Achilles I feel that I have no match. Are there no Hector's out there? Sadly it appears that my accusers, traducers, opposers and haters cannot find one. All they have is their hate, their ignorance, their insults and their inbred crudity and vulgarity.

  6. In the midst of the very severe problems facing the country, it is disappointing to find Kayode engaging in silly tribal warfare. Corruption, illiteracy, joblessness, disease, ignorance, and similar vices are the reasons for our failure, not the superiority or inferiority of tribes. In the eyes of the world we remain corrupt, undeveloped, ignorant, etc. We should be focusing our energy on how we can improve our image before the rest of the world, how we can improve standards of living for our people, how we can make electricity available to our masses, how we can attack crippling corruption in the sytem, etc. We have a lot of work to do, and singing praise of ones tribe as Kayode is doing is definitely not one of them. My good friend Kayode, go do volunteer work for somebody since you appear to have a lot of time in your hands.

    2. Good talk 4.12, FFK didn't need to humiliate himself by talking about his private life with others especially people who may have carried on with other relationships. It doesn't show maturity at all, given the fact we humans are all jealous to a great extent when it comes to issues like that. Coming to a public media like this and counting for us how many IBO ladies he has laid does not serve any purpose on this issue being discussed rather it affair ms his tribalistic tendencies as he never went further to solemnise his relationship with any of these ladies. He should as well give us plausible reasons why he did not, otherwise it will be tantamount to TRIBALISM. For a man of his status,he should know that citizenship or the right to reside,do business, acquire wealth etc in a particular region in the modern world is not is not attributed to indegeneship if there's any word like that. Nigerians exercise their rights to live globally today bcos of the existence of these rights. How come within the same Nation,we can't tolerate ourselves? FFK has rubbished his intellectual status by this write up. I still want to hear the history of the Ibos from him & those things our ancestors did to others 80-100yrs ago. Pls educate us..... Chris Abara.

  12. It's a pity nobody has been able to counter the historical facts that Femi raised in his previous article, yet people have being calling him names. I am a student of political science and so familiar with some of the truth/facts he raised. The only solution to this saga is for the Igbos to stop laying claim to what does not belong to them and learn to respect their host, in this case the Yorubas. No ethnic group in Nigeria including the Ibos should take the generousity of the Yorubas to be cowardice. I think the Igbos have bitten more than they can shew by trying to lay claim to Lagos. A word is enough for a wise.

  20. We need to be careful of how we reply people's write up. FFK has said somethings, gave some detailed accounts of fact (which he called truth). And am yet to see anyone criticise him constructively. Mr Fani can you describe your relationships with these honourable ladies? Were they your friends, mistresses, partners or business associates? And can we all leave sentiments and tribalism and argue constructively?
Mr Fani, I want to believe that your motives are not based on tribalism. I hate tribalist and yorubas that I know and been used to, are not. They are very accomodating and hospitable.
What suprises me about Mr FFk is that I sense some level of aggression in his write up. If you want to write something off this magnitude sir, you need not trade abusive words. And you to clarify the air based on people's response and your stand in the matter. I believe in one Nigeria, I believe in peaceful co-habitation.
By the way, let us talk of a way forward for this country not ways of destroying the already delapitated state.
God bless the Igbos. God bless the Hausas. God bless the Yorubas. God bless our Leaders. And God bless NIGERIA

  21. I can of believe FFK's message now, almost all the comments here are uncultured and verbiage,no one is addressing his discuss.I think the igbo youth should demand their history from their elders. The bible says my people show no restraint because of lack of knowledge.
I am a Yoruba from Osun state,event-hough l grew up in Ibadan & Lagos(Yoruba Land) and have properties,my dad drilled it into us from young age that we are sojourners in Lagos & Ibadan and that our ancestral home is in Osun State. When you know your history,as l do(when Omo onile in Lagos gives you headache ,you will see no need to 'die' in a foreignland jsut becasue of a piece of land'when there is life there is hope',how much more try to claim ownership and go to the extent of insulting your landlords names like 'yaruba' and feigning foolish statements such as lagos is a no man land.
I have heard such from some ibos (a lot who l have as friend) and l normally think they are mad, but this thing has actually gotten out of order now, they need to inquire fro their respectable elders of the truth of their history.
Was 'Ojukwu a respectable elder and was his vision and intent right n,l submit No, you can not cave out a region and expect to live on Oil from the SS (as the only way you can achieve this is to either oppress or kill these minorities to submission).
The Oil is Abia & Anambra is really little without SS Oil

  25. Mr. FK you should not kiss and tell. Having intimate relationship with someone does not necessarily make you a non-tribalist. It just makes you a dog who goes hounding after any beautiful thing in a skirt. You are fanning the flame of war instead of quenching it. If we are all Nigerians, I think we should feel free to live anywhere we choose. We are foreigners in countries like U.K and U.S.A. Should we be foreigners again in our own country? U.SA and U.K deports Nigerians home all the time. Should we be deported again in our country? That is tribalism. A gentleman does not kiss and tell. Saying that you bedded all those women only shows that you like women and it doesnt matter to you where they come from so long as you satisfy your sexual appetite. If a woman comes out and talk about all the men she had slept with, you will call her a shameless whore. Fani kayode you are no gentleman and I am beginning to question your intelligence in speaking about all those women like that. Shame on you. You should keep your mouth shut about your sexual history before the women comes out and put you to shame about the size of your stupid penis.

  39. Everyone is leaving the salient truths behind and commenting on non-issues. Why are the igbos always suspicious of other tribes? Why do they want to always have their ways in a multi-ethnic country like Nigeria? Why is it so difficult to treat others with respect? And ultimately, why are we leaving the message and attacking the messenger? It will do us, our various peoples and our dear country a lot of good if we can accept one another, treat one another with mutual respect and entrench lasting values of justice, peace and unity in ourselves, our children and children's children rather than pour out rabble-rousing venom. People should think more than they speak, otherwise we end up fighting senseless battles.

  41. Dear God, what did u create Ndigbo? They are rude, greedy, ingrates, heartless, rebellious and more. They are the Alphas of coups, unrest and tribal war in Nigeria. They don't even trust themselves let alone other tribes.
Nigeria will be better without the tribe!

  42. As much as I we could say that FFK is fanning the embers of chaos and tribal unrest between the Yorubas and Igbos, it is worthy of note that he has driven home points that we should encourage our Igbo brothers to learn from. Where in the world will anyone lay claim to anothers property and even dominate him while using what doesn't belong to him and will not get a fight back? As many as are reiterating the account of sexual relationships revealed and abusing FFK's body parts are just not different from him. The many replies to this writeup further drives home the point the writer was trying to make about the uncouth and crude nature of "some" Igbos. They must learn to respect themselves and say no to aggression. Majority of the Igbo leaders themselves have not recovered for the trauma of the successful biafra movement that led to a civil war, and even our literay icon who died some months back kept repeating history by writing the book "There was a country" about biafra just to trigger another biafran movement. Chinua Achebe lived and died just to see that the Igbos had a nation of their own, only that his life's mission was impossible, so he died a sad man. He already groomed a young lady called Chimamanda Adichie to continue writing in his stead after he must have gone so that some day, these provocative writings in the guise of literary pieces will trigger another biafran movement. You need to read the book - Half of a yellow sun- to see how the writer told a story of a war she did not witness because she had not been born at the time. She had been properly mentored, and that mentor is the iconic legend- Late Chinua Achebe.
The handwriting is clear on the wall- Nigeria is one but Igbos had better stop their domineering nature and the idea that they are the boldest and wisest tribe in Nigeria hence laying claim to another's property. How many Yorubas or Hausas have thrived in their land as much as they have in ours? Because the average Igbo man is very competitive and will give you not opportunity to do so in his land! Even though this issue is a very sensitive one, truth sometimes need to be told especially when a particular tribe feels they can get away with it and nothing will happen. Silence is not always the best as issues of this magnitude should be addressed once and all. All parties should learn from mistakes and let this issue that is capable of disintegrating Nigeria a second time die a natural death! A word is enough!

  44. Why can't we face reality and call a spade a spade. Let those critics counter his bitter truth instead of raising abuses. Igbo land belong to Igbos, Yorubas and other ethnic groups have theirs too. This long throat and covetiousness is killing this country. Let all of us develop our own areas too.

  45. I have commented on this hard truth written by Fain Kayode and it was not published. All the published ones were written by Igbos. Why can't we face reality and call a spade a spade. Go and make Jerusalem or Mecca out there in the East. Your abuses will not matter.

  46. Still no single igbo man can intellectually, without garrulous emotions take up Fani Kayode at the level he delivered his first 2 master pieces! The igbos have played the yoruba tribe for a fool because we are accomodating! Shame though that Fani Kayode mentioned the names of some of the many igbo ladies he has bedded! Not surprising though! They are mercenary by nature, just like their men, they would do ANYTHING for money! Eko o ni baje o! Ibos, Eko akete ki se ile baba yin!

I think you have crossed your boundary and you are beginning to loss focus,is it necessary to mention the names of Igbo women you have had intimate relationship with, it is very childish and immature and personally i am disappointed that someone of your caliber and standing with a good family history should be saying this and to cap it all a Yoruba man, Sir e ni eko

Honestly, I saw d bloke called Femi-Falani Kayode as a fool but now I see him more like a full-blown Loquacious Moron! Just 2 sight one miserable justification of not being tribalistic- "I gave my life 2 Christ in TREM owned by an Ibo-Mike Okonkwo"! Is dt not so funny?!! So Ur religious believe is now based on the founder of d Church n all? I am a full Member of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) and I Love my Father in d Faith- Bishop David Oyedepo with ALL my heart, do I now say I am detribalised because I'm a member of his flock? Knowing what God is doin through him which I am a beneficiary of his liberation mandate! Dis man is indeed senseless! Maybe I should go 2 Chosen Ministry because the founder is Lazarus Mouka! That statement alone shows how Tribalised d Kayode is! No wonder we have many Yorubas in "Aladura" and other white-demonic churches worshiping d founders! 51. I believe Fani Kayode spoke nothing but the truth anybody that has anything in contrary to whatever he said should write rejoinder.Stop abusing or insulting him. I want any Igbo who can discredit the following few facts of his statements:

  52. Please let every Igbo person not join issues with this man because he talks, thinks, reasns and behaves as an adolescent not as a man who have had opportunity of becoming a one time minister of FRN. I would not be surprised if Mr. Fani-Kayode goes to tell the world the colors of Mrs Ojukwu,Anasoh ,and Uchegbu's undies.
I regret ever joining issues with him in his earlier comments. This man with all his training in Cambridge does not understand the difference between a WORD and a SENTENCE,to PARAGRAPH,or even an ESSAY. He said he has a WORD for those that called him a Tribalist. Honestly, I was waiting for one word only to be served a catalogue of emotional vituperations of an outcast. Am passionately disappointed at you with the amount of resources wasted on your education at Kings College and the Cambridge. No Igbo person can cross swords with your high level of idiocy but would cross sword with you with being illustrious and accepted by our own people.

  55. Femi Fanikayode is really insufferable, utterly childish and deeply enmeshed in hatred fuelled by over bloated egotism. Does he really expect any serious minded intellectual of igbo extraction to waste precious time joining issues with him over his totally unprovoked but completely distorted diatribe against the igbos, which he disgustingly disguised as 'historical facts' NO! He can only get the type of responses he deserves from a rabble rousing crowd of his ilk.
In a feat of his boundless childish egotism, he brands himself Achilles and stupidly throws a challenge to the entire tribe asking if there wasn't a Hector out there. I tell you Femi that there are a thousand and one Paris out there who can with a single arrow make Achilles bite the dust! But it doesn't really worth their while. What really baffles them is whether there is no Agamemnon or Odysseus in the Yoruba camp to call this uncouth fellow to order before he finally destroys the cordial relationship that has existed between the two great tribes over time.

ITS BECAUSE THEY HAVE SEEN THESE THINGS DECADES AGO.
HOWEVER, WHEN THEY REACTED, IT WAS THE SO CALLED YORUBA SCHOLARS THAT CASTIGATED THEM.
    NOW YOU KNOW BETTER!!!!.
WE ALL KNOW THAT THE IGBOS ARE BOLD BECAUSE THEY RELY ON THE STOCKPILE OF ARMS IN THEIR ARMOURY.

  64. The truth is very bitter. FFK has made some points no igbo luminary can counter instead they have been insulting his person. He is a mad man they say! Well, mad men always speak d truth! Lol. Though in his repertoire of truths he shouldn't have mentioned the women...that's incredulous. Igbos should understand some things that are fundamental in living together, that respect is reciprocal. Respect your host, the pple of Lagos. If u are in the shoes of the indigenes of Lagos u won't celebrate when someone tells u your land is also theirs. The fact that they accomodate u doesn't mean they can no longer claim ownership. 2ndly if America choose to invest in Lagos it will never make it their own. 3rdly, treat others the way u want to be treated. Enuf of the aggression and abuse on the Yoruba tribe. Believe me, what d Yorubas gave u, u cannot give them one tenth in centuries to come. Why? Bcos its not in your blood to give, help or be accomodating. Somebody asked a vital question, how many Nigerians from other tribes are thriving in the East? I dare say none. 4thly, you must learn to 4give and 4get. Only then can u move forward. The igbos are yet to 4give Nigeria. 5th point...you must learn patience and the win-win attitude. If u were patient, there wouldn't have been need for Biafra. 6th point...everyone has a right to their opinion. Seek 1st to understand pple than to be understood. Awo and Gowon fought against Biafra bcos they believe in Nigeria. That shouldn't make them your enemies and tribalist? So are u saying if u were in their capacity u would have allowed Biafra to thrive? Let us move forward and live in peace. And lastly, let's give our hearts to Christ, when we do so the walls amongst us will be broken. God bless Nigeria!!

  68. To be brutally sincere there is no way in God's green earth that this debate will be deliberated and one side will not feel marginallized or embittered even by sincere candid opinions.
The insults that have flown is innumerable. Even though one side is better at outdoing the others it is the end point that matters.
We the yorubas are by no means cowards and will defeat our enemies tactically before the enemies will leave there home territories and if some survive the home base ,almost all will perish on the journey to d venue and eventually at the venue we will unleash hell in every sense of the word and take child slaves. Th
is I say sincerely . But I know certainly this sincerely is not our intent for our Igbo brothers. We only demand respect and change in how we are perceived and always called cowards ,Lagos a no man's land. No being can stomach being trampled on for so long and not have an outlet.
The IGBOs have taken offence On the Deportation Issue and I know dis is unfair on there part in d country of there birth to be hampered from moving freely is candidly unfair. After all we are all Nigerians.
But this debate given that it has it bad sides with all d many insults going here and there .
This has it's good sides in that we now better understand our selves and what hurts this man that I have always said and what this other man finds as an abomination.
This should happen so we learn to love our selves better and carefully.Remember even identical twins have issues.
Lets be careful with our utterances and feelings towards each other.
Look at the map of Africa and how fragmented it is and compare to the other continents and sizes of there countries.
You perceive the big flaw that Africans are disunited and the white man's nations are more united.
Do we want to fragment the map down further no.
We have fought let us now learn to be better friends. This is how it should end.
    Thanks for reading.

  71. Education is meant to transform human into a rational animal; anything less than this can be regarded as IGNORANCE!

All I can deduce from the writer's (FFK) article is mere acrimony, precipitating from a selfish quest for recognition, a cowardice antics to spark up an intra-tribal conflicts in which HE would readily make himself a fugitive when it ignites, and above all, a sycophant who disguises himself under the coat a SERVANT OF TRUTH for his tribe to attract political attention for fighting for his people.

An educated gentleman/lady is not gauged or measured by the quality of queen's English one can pen down, but in the quality of life one can touch with his knowledge and behaviours in the society. From what I understood in one of FFK's article, he is an educated sex maniac that lacked any sense of human dignity and sanctity of sex. Therefore deserves an unreserved apologies to those women he has tarnished their images in the course of his writings. If he is truly fighting a JUST CAUSE as he claimed, while destroying the images of those women that have no link to the point he was trying to portray.

Finally, the writer is TRULY not fighting for his tribe, but is targeting to mischievously achieve his political path back in the Nigerian history and NOT of the YORUBA's having been ousted from the list of the political appointees in the Federal executives.

I also advocate he takes up Psychology and Philosophy as another degree to help cultured him better in the way and manner he should talk publicly, so as not to say what is prohibited in the GENERAL in the PUBLIC !

  72. Could FFK tell this forum in clear cut words, what role his father played in the imprisonment of the Late Pa Obafemi Awolowo? The Yorubas seem not to have completely forgotten & he thinks his cheap,senseless,ill-fated article could atone for the evil of his late father. The Yoruba with all the intelligence & education they claim could not discern the motives of this write up from someone who has shown great unpatriotic attitudes to his Nation. He should certainly be behind bars if he did what he did to this Nation in the UK or America. EFCC is certainly a dummy used on a category of pple in this country otherwise they should have been able to proove to the world that FFK is nothing but a cheap criminal.
